Being caught on camera is something you get very used to being in drum corps. This is a picture of the 2003 Drum Line.

This is the pit. Not a marching part of the drumline, but definitely an asset. We consider ourselves all part of the drumline, but if you really wanted to break it down, they would call the Drum Line the "Battery" and they would call the Pit the "Front Ensemble." Either way, no percussion section is really that good without a pit. The drumline is the black and white and the pit brings the color.

This is a sign in Universal Studios that was taken because it reminds us of an inside joke that the kids in the corps have. Does Cheezie ring a bell?
|
|
This is Pinto. He was in the middle of his piece for Individuals in 2003 and he had a fan club of about 60 people. Targets and fans filled the room. We Love you Pinto!!!

This is Todd again. He wasn't looking at the camera because there were 2 people with cameras and he didint know who to look at. He's sporting the Boston Red Sox hat that the battery wore to be more in uniform.

This is what it's about when you aren't practicing or competing. You go places and meet new people that you will have in your life forever. This is a picture of a few members of the corps hanging out and soaking in the sun in Universal Studios.

At the end of the day, no matter how stressful it was, as soon as you get off that field and know you did a good job, it's all worth it.
